Justine and her family extend warm thanks and appreciation to all who have provided support and assistance to Justine and all all those who so generously contributed or participated in fund raising efforts. In particular, special thanks are extended to:

  • To The Wellness Clinic, Chelmsford for beauty treatments.
  • To everyone who has sent Justine get well cards/gifts/messages during and her illness/transplant.
  • To a good friend, Rik, for giving Justine an electric guitar.
  • For Marc Fargeot helping with Justine's guitar lessons.
  • Bernie and Caroline for organising a day trip to the Eastenders set.
  • The Willow Foundation for supplying a break for Jon and Justine's parents at The Grove with a limousine for Jon and Justine's journey.
  • Vicki & Neil Selwyn-Barnet & Cancer Research UK for the Event Sat evening 25 June
  • The Esporta Team and all who ran for her in Trent Park Sunday 26 June.
  • EDRS for donating her laptop 26 June.  This was done in advance of the funds   
     anticipated being raised by them at the 70's Dance being held 10.11.05.

Medical Thank Yous

  • All the team and doctors at The Parkfield Clinic, Potters Bar; at the Whitley House Surgery, Chelmsford; and at Watford and Three Rivers Primary Care NHS Trust
  • All the A. & E. team, doctors and physicians at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield; Broomfield Hospital Chelmsford; and at Barnet General Hospital
  • All the team, doctors including Dr. Carby at Harefield Hospital and a special Thank you to Mr. Omar Maiwand for his great kindness at the time of admission after being transfered from Broomfield Hospital and Heather Constance the transplant Co-ordinator who has been so attentive.
  • The respiratory department at Royal Brompton Hospital, London and Andrew Montgomery for his guidance in the use of portable oxygen equipment.
  • All the emergency and ambulance team for their rapid response to the 999 calls.
  • The Pilot and Crew of Essex Air Ambulance for the kindest shown and rapid transfer to Harefield Hospital 24.1.06.

  • Humphrey Couchman and Rachel Brady of the British Lung Foundation for raising awareness of Justine and her condition through the British Lung Foundation website and magazine
  • Black Cat Video, Potters Bar for assisting with converting footage into digital format to enable it to be added to this website
  • Montse Moré (Cirque du Solei),  Tess Shorthouse (Harvey Goldsmith Productions) and Martin Goldsmith (Event Merchandising) all of whom assisted in arranging for Justine to see the Cirque du Solei show 'Alegria' at Royal Albert Hall on her birthday 12.2.06.  This provided Justine with a fantastic treat which she thoroughly enjoyed. This was her last trip out before her condition deteriorated a few days later.
