Hi Juicy Justine

Keep that spinning going; Next you might even find yourself in the Tour De France! I am sorry to hear about those little terrors that are playing mayhem with your body; I do hope the infections clear up soon;

I went back to Bury St Edmunds on Friday night; Had a wonderful time with my family; It was my sisters birthday which was fancy dress; Went as a Pirate; I cannot wait to show you the photos for this; Also spent the whole day in Cambridge punting; Justine it was gorgeous and hard work! You however were never far from my mind;

Looking forward to seeing you soon;

x Mark

We are so amazed by your speedy recovery, you are doing just fantastically; That goal of going home must be in your mind all the way; It won't be long now til you can start your normal life again, picking up where you left off, planning your wedding, and making up for the last 15 months of suffering;

You realise that you are going to be very very famous dont' you?! Hope you are ready for the Paparazzi - I can see that next year you'll be invited onto Celebrity Big Brother but of course you'll turn it down because you'll either be directing (or even starring in) the film of your life or launching your new book! Roll on all of that Justine - you deserve all the best of life from now on;

With tons of love to you, Jon and all the family and crossing everything to hear that you're out of hospital very soon!!!

Much love as always; xxxxx

Morning my Diary Queen,

What a way to wake up on a Monday morning and read your fantastic DIARY entry; Some cold mornings I need to be prised out of bed (forcefully); However this morning I knew that I had two days updates waiting for me, so I lept like a scottish salmon straight into my slippers and glided down the stairs to the computer; I am currently quaffing noodles and vegetables & drinking green tea whilst enjoying your awesome diary entry and guestbook updates;

You are such a "chicken dinner", I am so happy that you are finally looking towards the light at the end of the tunnel; Your recent recovery has been nothing short of miraculous and I am sure I can vouch for a few of your messaging buddies when I say it is also "well deserved"; The old adage of "good s#@% happening to good people" will eventually come true (even if it takes a long long time);

A lady asked me the other day if my previous illness had changed my life; I said that it had but only for the better; Having read your diary and guestbook for many months I reckon the same thing has happened to you; Your appreciation for the simple things in life has now gone off the chart; A walk in the park will take on new proportions, a Wimpy followed by a coffee will seem like a 5 star meal;

Well you have officially made my day today and it is only 40 minutes old, so well done to you my lovely!

I had better go and get showered before school; I am now only one week away from (hopefully) passing this course so keep your fingers crossed; I finished my grammar test so will get the results of that back in a few days; I got 90% in my phonology so was delighted about that;

Life is officially like a box of chocolates at the moment (especially now your recovery is progressing so well), and that box is filled with my favourites (caramel and nut specials!)!

Have a smashing Monday and as ever my thoughts, prayers, hugs and cheeky Monday kisses are winging their way to you;

L O L

Oliver

p;s; Leila, you are a lovely brave lass for doing that jump so well done; I still cannot believe you jumped out of a perfectly good aeroplane! Bravo young lady!

Hi Justine

We have never met but I had to e-mail you to say how thrilled I was to hear that you have at last received your double lung transplant; You were in the bed next to my son, Richard, when he was in the 4 bedded ward in ITU just after he received his double lung transplant on 19th February; Andrea, Richard's wife, and myself stayed at Parkwood whilst Richard was in ITU and whenever we saw Jon asked how you were; You're like Richard a fighter; Best wishes and lots of happiness for the future to you and Jon; It was such wonderful news to hear that you had joined the 'transplant club';

Hi Just,
Have just been updating myself with your diary; Firstly very well done on doing so much excersize, I am ashamed to say you do more excersize than me - what a lazy young lady you make me feel;!
Its great to hear that your last drain has been removed, its not surprising that it was very emotional for you, maybe you just got a bit attached to them (sorry bad joke!)
Hope your latest infections clear up quickly so you can see your many visitors again soon;
Rest up and take jolly good care of yourself;
Hope you have a good weekend and enjoy some sunshine and a nice bit of grub;!
Catch up with your news again on Monday;
Love Den x

Dear Justine,

Super glad to hear you had a bit of a wander yesterday and that you are feeling a little better; I hope the infection clears up and that they aren't being too bothersome at present;

Your guestbook really is a wonder; It's such a cool way for people you know and don't know to stay in touch; It really is a wonder and always great to read comments from people you know (& MISS) and strangers who have been touched by your situation; Nearly 180 messages, that is oodles; You are truly one popular chick!

I will send you the answer tomorrow but I was in a mega rush this morning; I needed to go and buy supplies before class; I forgot I needed playing cards and some more markers so had not allowed the extra time in my precise mroning schedule (put slippers on, have fish for breakfast, shower shave, grab brolly and run out of the door at 8;18am); It feels weird to have a schedule after so many years without;

Got to have a haircut this weekend because I am officially getting 'bedhead' - a sure sign it needs cutting! JK and I should not have to worry about that problem! Short is good;

Well i had better get back to class; I have a grammar lesson next; Hope I can stay awake!

Miss you loads, send jakesy a kiss from me;

All my love, hugs, prayers and kisses,

Oli

Dear Justine,

How bloo#y marvellous to read your diary entry; I was in a super, smashing great mood before but now I am interstellar! It's so good to know you are well enough to type even a short note after what you have been through (esp; as I thought your diary entries would not start for a little while longer, while you recuperated);

Apparently not, you must be some sort of superwomen; Kryptonite ehh! I always wondered how Jk got together with such a hottie; He must have your ONE weakness, hidden in a box somewhere safe;

Well I pray that those pesky infections scarper quick smart;

I think a message or two got lost in hyper-space because you cannot seem to send multiple messages to your website per day; Probably due to the huge time difference; Therefore I will have to send you the quiz tomorrow instead;

Anyway I am off home as I have been working hard today; Thanks for thinking 'A' by the way because I just had a super lesson and loved every minute; In fact instead of teaching the Vietnamese lady for 50mins it went on for over an hour; The PMA definitely works even across such an expanse of land and water;

Have a marvellous Tuesday tiger, thinking about you oodles,

Hi Justine! Gavin has been keeping us updated on your progress; I just cannot tell you how exciting this is (of course, our excitement is probably miniscule compared to that of yours and your family)! It seems you are progressing a little more each day; I can't imagine the pain you must be having from the surgery, but hang in there; I know you're a fighter and you've got a lot of folks behind you;

Hi Justine,

Following your progress every day and sending positive vibes your way; I know how exhasted you must be feeling after the transplant - but every day you will begin to feel stronger; I had to be careful of my sugar levels after my transplant but that didnt last long; I remember drinking Pepsi Max which has no sugar;

You have come so far Justine, its truly a blessing that the transplant finally came - you are so deserving of this second chance and you will soon be well enough to unleash your creativity upon the world; Give my best to your family and Jon -

Its great that you have so many people writing in your guest book;

Was sitting in the park all weekend, something I hope you will be able to do more easily now, once you are fitter and more mobile; I in fact look forward to our walks together in the park now;

The sun was wonderful this weekend; I spent saturday in St james Park and all Sunday on Hampstead heath; I even went swimming in the ponds there; Exceptionally warm, almost like being abroad;

My mum went into hospital and apparently is also doing well with the second replacement knee; So thats two of my favourite girls on the mend; Lets hope you can meet one day and swap war wound stories;

Sun is shining here in Thames today but I am a little tired; I was up until after 2am working on a Phonoly test for today; Not the most interesting stuff in the world; Had another lesson today and made a few schoolboy erros so got a B+ and not an A, disappointed but will try to Phoenix from the Flames it tomorrow; Think 'A' for me tiger;

Dear Justine,

Okay if sleep seems to be the problem at the moment - let's (PMA) think about some really restful things and some really boring things;

Okay here goes - you've had a a nice Sunday roast, you feel sufficiently stuffed; You luxuriate on the couch with the huge Sunday papers; Warm socks on, room temperature is just perfect; You go into a cat curl and your eyelids get very very heavy; You can only hear a light hum in the room before the food and warmth take over ; your dozing and as peaceful as a sunset on a deserted a island;

Okay lets try another; It's the afternoon, your popping into the library to get JK a copy of 'How to Win the Lottery' by Larry Ucky; You sit in a huge leather chair reading War & Peace thinking of your school days; Your mind is not on Tolstoy, its on school days; It's on friends past and present; You remember fun times, playground antics and teachers who bored you to levels of snoring you did not know you could reach; Those lessons make your eyes heavy, you battle to keep them open - you know JK wants to read that book to win you a mansion but its no use; Your asleep; It would take an 80yr old librarian with an iron will to prise you from that armchair;

OKay thinking sleep thoughts hasmade me a little tired, I am off to read the Bourne Supremacy for a bit;

MIss you oodles and hope the sleep comes very soon,

All my love,

Oli

Dear Justine,

Happy Saturday tiger!

Admittedly you may be asleep on Friday night still (hopefully having sweet dreams about Wimpey's, cycling through the park, candlelit dinner with only JK and a bottle of wine for company -with him having done all the cooking of course!); Well Happy Saturday anyway my lovely;

It is Saturday morning and I think it would be fair to say the rain is 'bucketing down', which in a way I am glad about because you just don't get to use the words - bucketing and torrential very much - so its a bonus really;

I was mega-glad to hear you were on the bike again, two minutes COOL! You officially rock; I hope they can get a few of these pesky infections cleared up as soon as possible; Like the lovely Den I am also glad you are refusing those extra pain drugs; Your fortitude is smashing, your resilience is a genuine marvel and I am so glad to count you as a friend;

I will keep thinking about unpainful things ALL day in the hope that the PMA spreads your way - rolling on a soft bed of grass, swimming in a warm sea, eating chocolate under a duvet on the couch whilst Eastenders is on etc;

Okay internet is running out so will have to go (the roof in my hostel appears to be leaking so I had better go and tell someone!);

Miss you loads and hope the recovery stays on the right tracks,

All my Saturday love, luck and prayers on the way,

Hi Justine, I am Heidi's sister in law; (Paul's sister) I think I have met you only once when introduced briefly at Angela's 60th Birthday; I was really shocked and saddened to here about your illness last year and how serious it was; Paul and Heidi have kept us up to date with your progress and I can't tell you how pleased I was to hear that your wish had come true and you had had your double transplant; Paul gave me your web address today, so this is the first time I have looked at it, so forgive me for not sending a message before now; I've been reading through your diary and crying buckets; You have been so brave; It's lovely to read that you have so many family and friends out there thinking of you; You are an inspirational lady and I can see you going on to do big things in the future; You are going through so much pain and your not complaining; The early parts of your diary are so true; We all moan about very trivial things which are not important at all; It really puts some perspective onto our lives; Its sounds as if your body is fighting back now and I am so pleased for you; I hope you get stronger and stronger each day and that you continue to get strength from all your friends and family; I wish you a very speedy and well deserved recovery; I'll be thinking of you and watching your website now; JO XX

The worst part is that they said it so much, some of my new class mates have taken it up; I am used to Oriva when its from the Japanese student but not 'Ovary';

Well see you in a while Crocodile, all my LOVE,

Ovary

p;s; Your on a beach, water is lapping over your toes ;

Dear Justine of Lovelyville (formerly of intensive care),

Always sorry to hear you are in any type of pain but am thinking - positive for you - imagine youself lying on a beach, sun baking down, the sky a msih-masgh of orange, light blue and white clouds, birds singing, water lapping against your toes, not a pain in your body; You are relaxed and looking forward to JK returning with a 99 ice-cream with extra hundreds & thousands on them;

I will keep thinking this all day in the hope that some of the pain whiles away;

Got to go as class start in 9 minutes;

All my love, luck, kisses and hugs

Morning Justine! Yay! I see you have progressed and are moving to the ward, go you! What is it like to take a deep breath I wonder?? Am very excited for you!
I am doing fine, the beginning of the week has taken its toll a bit so I am staying in bed a lot to have a nice recoup; Keep on mending and being a model patient, and I look forward to reading what it is like for you when all the chest drains and stuff are out and you are striding down the corridor! xx

Been checkn in on you night and day had a 6am start this morning… I'm hopeless at this hour! Way to go girl moven out of ICU and back to the ward to give the nurses hell…thata girl; If there's any cute ones feel free to mention my name ;he he…I've recently gone back to Tap dancing and my teacher from Oz is in London this month, I put in a good word for her at our old haunt Danceworks and she is taking a few master classes there this week; It's a very small world ain't it! And one that you seem to have captured the hearts of miss… keep on recovering in leaps and bounds ya hear…; I was so with you on the resisitance to Morphine… while it sure does dull the pain boy does it plays havoc with the mind and us Aquarian girls like to keep our minds nice and sharp… bought a smile to my face when I read about you not wanting them to admister much of that gunk;
O;K super trouper enough from me for now; When I'm next in the UK you owe me a dance class; Love and strength to you; Kim;xx

Dear Justine,

GO GIRL!! It appears that your iron will, some good Doctors, oodles of world PMA, a loving family and fiancee are helping you down the road to recovery;

I am so pleased to hear you are being moved, that is a massive filliup for me today;

I bet all the nurses can't wait to have you back, I am sure you are one popular lass in that place by now;

Well I needed a boost this morning as I was so tired, studied late and got to bed at 1;30am; I was fully togged up in my all white thermals again;

I really need to buy some dark ones because when people see a figure in all white at 4am in the morning (when going to the little boys room) they jump SO high in the air; I laughed but they don't seem to see the funny side, some Europeans and Asians supposedly don't like short ghosts! Ho Ho Ho;

It is really nice to have such regular updates and a daily source of joy for me to hear your progress; Take care my love and keep on trucking;

All my luck, love and hugs arte flying over the water as I type ;
; ON THERE WAY ;

Oli

p;s; if JK gets to read this let him book me in my kiss on his Fiances cheek, sending kisses over the internet is more difficult so JK will have to help me out here;

Hi Justine

Just started looking for a new job now as my contract runs out in a couple of months; All that interviewing process again; Its a really strange atmosphere in the office as most of the team finish up on Tuesday 18th July;

Hopefully you will be on solids soon; I bet you cannot wait to eat some great grub once again; What would your first option be; I know there are certain things you have to avoid now or completely cut out your diet due to the transplant;

My mum goes into hospital again tomorrow to have the second replacement knee operated on; It was a big decision for her so soon after the first one 6 weeks or so ago; However she does tell me that the quality of life for her has changed and that she can now dance alot better; Lets hope its the same for you;

I am looking forward to seeing you again;

Trevor O Sullivan
Welcome To Justine News

The Oxford English Dictionary have this week announced they are to create a new superlative in order to keep up with demand for different ways to express how magnificent Justine Laymond is; Reacting to the news was journalist Trevor O Sullivan who said it was about time; He stated that it will have to be a pretty special one to extoll the virtues of the incredible Miss Laymond

Nancy Anderson, head of Nancy's Nails - one of the worlds biggest nail painting companies is aparently extremely worried about the fact that Justine Laymond is making such amazing progress; She told a source that she had already heard amazing stories emmanating from Harefield about Justine painting nurses and visitors nails and she is now very concerned that once she is well enough Justine will go into business against her; Nail guru Neil McNail said Justine would be a breath of fresh air to the nail painting industry

And finally, Trevor O Sullivan today expressed his admiration for the sublime recovery Justine Laymond is now making; He told a group of Jus fans at their weekly convention that she would be an amazing ambassador for organ donation and that she is an absolute star;
