Christmas came early! what a great present for one so deserving and one whose has provided a true example of courage and faith to others during the wait;

Prayers are yet being extended and great hope for a continued full a life; what you have experieinced and accomplished thus far is pale to what many ever complete in a much longer period;

Take one day at a time and continue to cherish each moment as you have learned so well from your past;

An inspiration to many, and more tomorrows are our wish;

With love for strenght from the West side of the pond!

Dear Magic Girl,

I really hope that your recovery keeps going at this pace; I am so proud to be your friend as you really have punched way above your weight (in the way you have dealt with such adversity);

I will keep praying today and will keep my fingers and toes crossed that this good run continues; I am sure JK and your folks can't wait to get you back on the old Wimpy & chips;

I have got to go as I have to teach a practise lesson in about 12 minutes so am feeling like someone has set loose oodles of butterflies in my tummy;

Take care and all my luck and love is still yours tiger,

oh-me-gawd! oh,my,oh,my,oh,my!!! i've been on tender hooks all day yesterday, I (and I think - another hundred others) got your message to say that you were off to the theatre for those long awaited lungs; my heart just skipped not one, but quite a few beats when I read your message; Boy was I nervous reading it; Throughout the day, I've been waiting for a bit more news, but guessed it would have been a long op and it was a "mixed bag of emotions" at Harefield, I didn't want to push it, but sent a quickie txt to your phone, to which, I then got a reply of "she's doing well;" - wow!! did I breathe a MASSIVE sigh of relief;still very excited at the thought - its finally happened;
When I finally jumped on the website to get more info, boy, was I glad of the update;
It's happened, all our prayers have been answered, someone has been smiling on you in the last few days and will be smiling on you for years to come - but especially now - so that you come out feeling great and "breathing" a MASSIVE sigh of relief too!!!;
Let us know a date - we'll be queuing up (with everyone else) for visits at Harefield, or wherever will be convenient, like when you get home!!!
I've been waiting ages to give you that hug!! Work on getting better and lots of good and wonderful thoughts are sent your way; Hope to see you very, very soon!!

Justine,

Words fail me this morning; They are just don't do justice to how delighted I am for you; I honestly nearly fell out of my chair when I read that you were off the ventilator already; That is absolutely staggering;

The fact that you have got a double lung transplant as well is absolutely superb; You kept fighting - never gave up - always remained hopeful - and that has now paid off for you as soon you will be enjoying your glorious second shot at life;

I can't concentrate on my work this morning - :) - I am just so delighted that your transplant finally came

I am so overjoyed that you have got your lungs (at last!), i just knew it would happen, im crying here; I know never to give up hope at all even though it must have been very hard especially for your parents and Jon; David says that you and him have something in common now, you are both fighters, he wasnt given any hope at all yet he is sat next to me on our other computer; I just hope and pray the lungs will take ok and your body will not reject them, but now you have got this far, everything WILL be ok now;
Am sending you huge hugs, and hope now you will be back at home soon, before summer is over!
Am thinking of you as always, and thinking of your family and Jon too;

Dear Justine,

Even though you probably won't read this for a few days I thought I had better send you another note; It has been a long day at school but all day has been spent with half a mind on your tricky predicament; I really wish I could be close by for the support, especially as JK could do with a Nashy hug;

It was a beautiful sunset here today and you would have loved the purples, pinks and oranges which were strewn haphazardly across the sky; We all hope you get to enjoy many more sunsets with your beau JK;

All my Monday thoughts are with you my dear;

Lots of love,

Oli

Hi Justine, you may not remember me as we've only meet once, (maybe twice??) but I get updates on your amazing plight and courage from our good friends Ang and Sarge,(Mike Hampton and Oli Nash while they were in Sydney too) so I guess I kinda feel like I know you through our mutual friends ;-;) I hope you don’t mind my random email but Angie told me today your fantastic news about your transplant and I just wanted to tell you that I’m sooo happy for you; I also figured it was time I checked out the website of this amazing chick I keep hearing about; I read your diary entry’s and checked out your art work and stuff (which I think is great) and just wanted to say 'you go girl'!! You brought both a little giggle with you nail painting, BBQ, Santa stories etc and also a tear to my eye whilst reading your entry’s when you mentioned you were a bit scared, you must be scared babe and I can’t even imagine, but don't be!!!! You obviously have loads of great people around you that love you, who are full of positive thoughts and good wishes, and you sound like a real trooper, I reckon you’re goin to rock it babe!!!! The no shower thing does suck eh!! I broke my leg badly about a year ago and couldn't shower for about 3 months, so I kinda know how you feel there, I’m glad you’re able to feel the running water again, its funny the little things we miss that we often take for granted; Onwards and upwards all the way!!! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you my thoughts are with you (all the way from down under), it must be such a crazy time for you and JK but you're not alone and we’re all thinking of you!!! (even though you don’t know me eh!)

Dear Justine,

My fingers our crossed and my heart is truly with you my lovely; It is strange because having just read the news I am unsure what this feeling is in my stomach; I am scared for you, delighted for you that this is what you have been waiting for, but feeling very sick as I am a long way away from two of my best mates YOU - my favourite artist, battler, genuinely wonderful human being and my junior brother/housemate, confidente, true old school friend Jon;

If PMA and Karma can help in any way I am thinking as many positive thoughts as my small brain can handle; Your Karma is grand because I can see from all the messages on your website that YOU have affected people across the globe; Friends and strangers alike have been touched by your plight, touched by your strength and fortitude in the face of adversity; Honesty & love for your friends, family and others waiting for a donor operation - in your writing;

How can a girl like you NOT affect all these people from across the globe; Your global fan club is all behind you, so when you close your eyes remember all the love you still have to give and all the love we have to give you;

Many people will treat life with a lot more respect and love having been introduced to YOU through this website and the journey you have been on;

I can say from the entire Nash & Renier side of my family we are all rooting for you 100%;

Godspeed Justine, I will go find a quiet place and pray that this is the start of your road to recovery;

ALL my love, hugs, luck, thoughts, prayers, best wishes and PMA are winging there way across the water as I write this

; ; ; ; ; ; EN ROUTE ; ; ; ; ; ;

Still oodles of love coming;

Your friend,

Hello
Justy popping in for a chat, but you have already done all the talking in your diary; How do you keep so busy and when can I get my nails done? Have started watching a prog on channel 4 about people waiting for heart transplants; It gives us mere mortals some more idea of what waiting is all about and the way the system works; It also shows some scenes from Harefield, so am more enlightened; Love to you as always;
6 July 2006 - Stanmore

Justine Responds:   Hi love to you all. Yes, I have been watching the heart programme, and thought it was very good. As to the nails - if you plan a visit - set aside some nail time! X

Dear Justine,

Sorry for last nights short message but it was one in the morning; It was great to read your diary excerpt but still a shame about England losing;

It sounds so nice and hot (maybe a little too hot though)there, especially as I sleep in Pj's, wear thermals etc here in NZ;

I had to buy a whole new wardrobe for this course beacuse everyone else looked so smart; For $40 (13 pounds), I got 5 shirts, one pair of trousers and a retro twead teaching jacket, plus a pair of size twelve shoes; I have had an offical charity shop make-over; This is as smart as I have looked in over two years;

Absolutely loving this teaching course, my class mates but it is proving hard work; Got to bed at 4am the other day and had to get up at 7am;

Still should be worth it in the end;

Miss you loads and wish you OODLES of love and cheeky July kisses my princess; Send my best to Junior JK my boy, if you will; Miss him so much around footy matches! He was a don to watch a game with;

Mark the slightly damp
Yes that sunshine seems to have faded away for the moment; Weather forecast as from the BBC 5 day forecast, heavy showers today, tomorrow; Light showers Friday and Sunday and for my birthday sat, a sunny day! Yippeee

Have been eating seafood all this week; Cooking tonight seafood risotto; Yes baby I am talented in the kitchen; But I do remember your cooking also; Especially the lasange you cooked for about 15 people;

I have just been for a little walk, so with the sweaty body due to the heat and also the slight misty rain, I am damp at work;

Think I will go window shopping again in a minute; Need to stretch those hairy legs; I do hope you are managing to keep yours shaved?

Be good love

See you soon;

Hi Justine What a super photo - you look lovely and great to read that good things are happening like BBQs and showers! Talk of BBQ food made me feel hungry as sausages (must be pork and apple)are my constant craving here in Spain; Last week we went to Gibraltar and came home with some of Morrisons finest - what a treat!
Your friends Leila and Jade are so BRAVE; I can't imagine how anyone ever plucks up the courage to jump out of a plane-I don't even like flying and only do it from necessity; Hope lots more good things happen to you this week;
Love to you and Jon Helenax

Hi Justine

Just seen your latest photo, you look lovely; Yes heatwave alert is exactly right isn't it? Too hot for me; My youngest daughter and I went to Wimbledon on Saturday but it was too hot for me, had to have my hat on and my sunglasses, also had to where a lightweight top over my string top to stop getting sunburnt; Had a lovely day though so we didn't see the Portugal match only found out we lost when we got home; Anyway very happy to hear you are eating a lot more and putting your weight back on; Very good idea of Jon's to bring the BBQ; I know its hard not to think of the negatives, i;e; about the possible rejection but I know you will, as always come through this and still praying for you; Its great that you are back responding to your messages; All my love Joyce xxx

Hi Justine,

Hows it hanging at Harefield, and hasnt it been hot, I cant believe how hot it is;
Had a look at your new picture and you look so great, you still have that sparkle in your eye so keep up the good work;
Gav has been away this weekend, camping it up in Wales with the boys so ive had a lovely girlie weekend; Pretty gutted about the football but have to say I expected it as soon as it went to penalties, as we are soo rubbish at them; Got pretty trashed drowning my sorrows so didnt do much sunbathing over the weekend, I kept going out to the garden but then had to return to the coolness of my lounge and collapse on the sofa;!
Ive been loving Big Brother, im so addicted to it and love Nikki and Pete, they are so funny; Its all gone a bit weird with this new house thing going on, I wonder how long the new housemates will last;
Well I hope you are feeling good at the moment, still praying that your new lungs come along soon; Enjoy the nice weather and give JK a big kiss from Gav and I;

Love and hugs

Hello and Greetings from Berkshire; Hooray to you that you're enjoying the hot weather over there - lollies and ice-creams, that's great (though it sounds like your getting your "lions share"; Also glad to hear your weight's creeped back up to what it should be - perfect, roll on the rest of the good news; it was strangly quiet over the weekend, 'fraid all our finger-nails have gone (no nail appointments just yet) - luckily our hair didn't go that way too (all the frustration!!!) anyhow, no matter, gotta pick ourselves up and move forward; can't look back; Anyhow, just checking out the website and keeping uptodate with all the news; My lil sis says hi and she's sending you wishes from south west; Ok, not much happening over here, at least you get to zoom around the wards spreading a little of that Justine Madness around - well someone's gotta keep those nurses on their toes!!
PS Well done to the girls who finally did their jump - well brave!!

Hi Justine, glad you got my letter ok and thanks for the email too, got a shock to see it!
My lung is still misbehaving here, done the drastic measure of taking painkillers now which i hate doing, i hate taking any pills but i cant exactly take the lung out and give it the hiding it deserves :(
Just hope i hold out for the next 2 weeks, our blessing is 2 weeks today, and want to avoid going back to hospital til afterward; Have everything sorted, got a proper photographer, one of those that charges silly money but we have got him for 50 pounds all cos its a sunday; So to everyone planning a wedding out there, dont do it on a saturday! Had a headache with the limo we ordered, told the guy we might have to cancel from the start but suddenly he pushed the agreed price up then demanded money when we cancelled, he has no right though so have reported him to relevent agencies; Got another limo sorted, again v;cheaply, which leaves more money for me he-he!
I will send you a pic after the day, im hoping they will be online but if not i'll post you one;
You take care and keep smiling too, sending lots of hugs, Sarah x

Hey hon!

Just read your latest diary post; Seems like things have been good for you (except the plaster); Glad that you have been getting out and eating ice cream! (my favourite has to Ben and Jerries Phish food) :) Yummy!

Like Ollie, have a serious hangover this morning; Was out with Sargy and the other sydney lads (ollie come back we miss you) and about 1,000 other "poms" supporting the lads; Oh well another 4 wait till we get knocked out to some bad decisions again!

Make sure you keep a space in your diary for my girlfriend Caroline to have her nails painted:) She's got until October to grow them back after biting them right back watching the game!

We've off to the Blue Mountains on Wednesday on the recommendation of Ollie and then I'm driving back up the east coast to Cairns and Brisvegas where it should be a little warmer than here in Sydney right now!

Kepp on trucking treacle and long may the sun continue to shine for you;

Love to JK and the family
Hugs & Kisses x Lots

Dear Justine,

How's your weekend going? I was wondering if you got to watch the spectacular England performance yesterday; The game finished here about 5;15am so I am a little tired today;

Watched it with a Scotsman and some French, all of whom supported Portugal;

The sun is shining here in Thames, so that is a big bonus; How is the replendent Johny K, good I hope; Hope he has not got too much of a football hangover today;

Start my course tomorrow so I had better get back to my preparation; I am glad to read you have had a good couple of days, always nice to hear;

Have a super Sunday and will send you a note later in the week, my lovely;

Hugs and kisses to you and Cohonez,

Oliver
